Refund Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This document is a translation of the French original. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This page explains in which cases a CYSOL Pro subscription can be refunded, and how to request a refund. It supplements our terms of service.
First of all: you should not need one
We designed our offering so that the question of a refund does not arise.
- The Starter plan is free, with no time limit and no bank card required. You can run your till without ever paying anything at all.
- The Pro plan trial lasts 7 days, with no commitment and no payment method. You get every module, on your real data, before spending anything.
- Cancellation is instant and requires no reason, from the “My subscription” screen in your back office. It takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep everything until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing is charged to you afterwards.
In other words: you try before you pay, and you stop whenever you want. A monthly subscription never commits you beyond the current month.
The principle
The subscription is payable in advance, monthly. A period that has begun is due, and cancellation does not entail a refund of the current month — since the service remains fully accessible until the end of it.
This principle is subject to the exceptions below, and it never deprives you of the rights granted to you by the law that applies to you.
When we refund
A refund is granted, without discussion, in the following situations.
- A duplicate charge, or an amount that does not match the advertised price plus the tax due in your country. We refund the difference in full.
- A charge after cancellation. If you have cancelled and an amount is nevertheless debited, it is refunded to you in full.
- A prolonged interruption of the service attributable to us. If CYSOL is unavailable for several days for a reason for which we are responsible, we refund the period concerned on a pro rata basis, or extend your subscription by the same length of time — as you prefer.
- A clearly unintentional subscription, reported within the following days, on an account where the service has not been used.
When we do not refund
- The fact that you have not used the service during a paid period. The subscription gives access; it is not consumed through use.
- A cancellation part-way through the month: access remains open until the end of the period, and it is that period you have paid for.
- The closure of your account on your own initiative before the end of a paid period.
- A suspension following a serious breach of our terms of service.
- An incompatibility with your hardware that the free trial of 7 days would have allowed you to detect at no cost.
Your statutory rights
This policy does not restrict any mandatory right granted to you by the law of your country. Where a right of withdrawal or a statutory guarantee applies to your situation, it prevails over the above.
CYSOL is a service intended for professional use: depending on your status and your country, consumer protections may or may not apply to you. If you believe that they do, tell us — we do not dispute a right.
How to request a refund
Write to contact@cysolpos.com stating the name of your business and, if you have it, the number of the invoice concerned. You can find all your invoices in your back office, in the My subscription section.
We reply within three working days. We will not ask you to justify your decision, only to help us find the payment.
You can also contact our support team directly, from your back office or through the contact page.
How the refund is made
The refund is made to the original payment method, by Stripe, our payment service provider, which collected the payment. We cannot refund to another card or by any other means.
As a rule, allow five to ten working days for the amount to appear on your statement; this time frame depends on your bank, not on us.
A full refund ends the corresponding subscription: your business returns to the Starter plan. Your data is not deleted — it is the viewing window that closes, and everything becomes accessible again if you subscribe again.
